Service/Commissioning Engineer - Winding
High voltage; rotating; electric; generator; mechanical; winding
With manufacturing sites across Europe and clients around the world, my client is the largest independent manufacturer of turbo-generators in the world catering for the petrochemical and process industries, offshore platforms, marine applications, heavy industry, mining and power generation utilities.
They have an immediate requirement for a Winding Service/Commissioning Engineer who MUST have experience in fitting and assembly operations on large high voltage rotating electrical machine.
You will be responsible for the on-site inspection, repair and rewinding of the stator, rotor and exciter windings of large high voltage electric generators. You will also provide customer/subcontractor training as required.
A fantastic opportunity which although UK based involves extensive overseas travel. A competitive salary and benefits are offered.
