Job Description

Qualified Social Worker - Fostering - Leicestershire A leading Fostering agency requires an experienced and qualified Supervising Social Worker to join their team in the Leciestershire area. The primary purpose of the role is to contribute to and maintain the clients high standards of care, ensuring that the best interests of placed children can be met. Specifically, this means that the Fostering Social Worker will be responsible for the recruitment, assessment, training, support, supervision and development of the client's foster carers. A full job description is available on request. You will be a Qualified Social Worker possessing Post Graduate Qualification (Degree, DipSW or CQSW) and valid GSCC Registration. Candidates must also have experience of working in a childcare environment, preferably in a foster care or family placement setting. Knowledge of fostering regulations and the National Minimum Standards are important requirements for anybody wishing to successfully apply. This position is based in the Leicestershire area in a location that is easily commutable from Leicester, Loughborough, Coalville, Nuneaton, Hinckley, Tamworth, Corby, Market Harborough, Kettering, Melton Mowbray as well as other surrounding areas.
