Job Description

A Chef de Partie is required to join the brigade at this busy corporate 3* hotel.

This three star establishment would like to recruit a dedicated Chef de Partie to join their stable team. Offering extensive conference and banqueting facilities, the hotel is a popular venue for weddings and corporate functions with the ability to cater for over 100 guests in a variety of suites. The hotel has a variety of dining experiences including a large formal restaurant, and informal relaxed brasserie, with menus offering a variety of cuisine as well as daily specials. The successful candidate should be a flexible individual, with experience in fine dining as well as volume cooking.

This role is an excellent opportunity for the right applicant to join a stable brigade and showing the right ambition and willingness to learn. This is a great opportunity to progress in a quality national group establishment. Your duties will include helping the senior chefs in all aspects of the day to day running of the kitchen, as well as the development of the junior chefs, it is therefore essential that you will be a flexible and hard working individual with the capability to work well within a team.

Qualifications/Experience required:

  • You must have NVQ 1&2 or equivalent and a minimum of 1-2 years experience in a fine dine restaurant where you were also required to cook to volume.
  • It is also necessary that applicants possess a food hygiene certificate.
