Job Description
This 10+ bedroomed 4* luxurious establishment, set in 38 acres of picturesque south Leicestershire rolling countryside requires a commis chef.
The hotel has two busy restaurants serving only the finest local produce around, and is proud of achieving the 2 AA rosettes currently held at this establishment. The Head chef sources only the finest fresh ingredients and is famed for big flavours and imaginative combinations. The inventive cuisine draws dinners from across the east midlands. The hotel also caters for private dining with 3 rooms available, and can cater for weddings up to 130.
The job is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about food and who wants to learn and develop their culinary skills. They must be the sort of individual who is Hungary for success.
Your duties will include:
Reporting to the Head Chef
Informing senior chefs of ordering requirements
Carrying out stock checks
Ensuring the correct standards are in place and if not, to redirect and control.
Up keeping the high standards that are already in place

Qualifications/Experience required
Previous experience in an establishment that was accredited with Rosettes or was Michelin listed, this would be advantageous but not essential. Must have NVQ level 1&2 or equivalent and a full understanding of food safety and hygiene. Applicants must be well presented. It is also necessary that all applicants have a stable CV with excellent references
