To support the corporate and neighbourhood management ethos of Leicestershire Police through promotion and co-ordination of architectural liaison principles across the Force area.
It is essential that applicants:
Are qualified to Royal Town Planning Institute accreditation level (RTPI) or Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), or equivalent degree;
Demonstrate by example a working knowledge of IT software including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint - or possess a European Computer Basic Level qualification;
Hold a current full European Driving Licence;
Demonstrate an ability to make a proactive contribution to solving problems within a work environment;
Demonstrate an ability to summarise narrative documents, highlighting relevant issues to others;
Demonstrate an ability to make recommendations arising from analysis or research;
Demonstrate by example a knowledge of architectural principles;
Demonstrate by example experience of your own influence within a multi-agency project or environment;
Demonstrate an ability to implement or apply a new policy within a work environment;
Demonstrate an ability to communicate confidently at all levels both orally and in writing;
Demonstrate an ability to work with limited supervision; to plan and prioritise own workload and make decisions within timescales;
Present written based reports and deliver presentations to all levels of the organisation and to external partners.
