An qualified mechanical engineer keen to work in the commercial side of engineering and confident to be the face of the company, would find the opportunity to work with this market leader of grinding equipment, of interest.
From taking a conceptual drawing and developing it to manufacturing stage on bespoke specification through to running demos and conducting trails with customers, you will be kept busy. Not only will you be involved in all areas of supplying machinery that is 100% fit for purpose from the factory in Leicester, you will also go to customer sites anywhere across the UK and abroad. From drawing to hand over, you will be part of the team that ensures your machines are delivered and installed correctly with demos on customers sites ready for handover. It is likely you will be on a plane or motorway about 60 days a year with the remainder of your time office based.
Applications are welcomed from commercially switched on graduate engineers who will need to learn the nitty gritty of grinding to team leaders with a background in grinding who are keen to come off the shop-floor and have the personality and bearing to represent the company.
