Have you enjoyed working in a buying environment previously and would you now like to develop these skills? If so this opportunity to join our client in one of their busy, expanding departments is on offer to fit the bill you will need to be switched on and keen to make a difference!
Joining a newly created department, this opportunity will allow you to get stuck in from the very start. Purchasing products to meet specific client requirements you will source, negotiate and progress chase orders gaining best prices deals for customers whilst ensuring the service you provide is first class. Sometimes getting involved in the more technical products this will enable you to really stretch your abilities to work towards problem solving and product specifications. Part of this varied role also allows you to communicate directly with the customer keeping them informed of product delivery dates and pricing promoting the department at every stage.
In order to fit the bill you will have worked within buying previously but are now looking for a bit of a change in a role where your varied skills will be fully utilised to encompass client liaison and customer support. You will need to be commercially switched on with an eye for spotting an opportunity and securing the best deal possible. You will be a solid team player with excellent communication and project management skills. You will not be disappointed with the package on offer here or the career potential this position offers.
