TEK Personnel are recruiting for ideally Security Cleared personnel to work for a major client in Derby who specialise in Submarine Propulsion systems and equipment. (Applicants with extensive knowledge in this sector without SC will also be considered).
Successful candidates will be working on propulsors, steam turbo-generators, propulsion plant architecture, flexible couplings and noise attenuators.
Ideally applicants must have knowledge of submarine systems but the main criteria of experience must include one of the following:
* Marine propulsion and related equipment (condensers, steam turbines, generators, propellers & noise attenuating devices).
* Fibre composites or similar materials
* Writing Product definitions
* Finite Element Analysis
* Boiler and Pressure Vessel Codes eg BS5500, ASME VIII
* Noise and vibration for rotating machinery and its attenuation
* Rotating Plant
* Fluid systems design
* Submarine systems
* Nuclear engineering
* Plant system design and integration
* Configuration Management
