A first class opportunity is available for a very capable Footwear developer to join a cracking organisation is a role that will stretch your ability and make the most of your creative flair!
Using your practical shoe making experience and your creative design skills this role is all about developing fantastic footwear to meet your customers needs. Working closely with major high street retailers on their product requirements you will work from brief in developing footwear to be manufactured by your suppliers in the Far East. You will need to have an eye for knowing what footwear will sell according to buying trends and you will be experienced in building fantastic ranges and understanding how each individual shoe will look and can me made. Trips to manufacturing sites overseas will also add an exciting dimension to this role, as you work closely on sourcing samples, altering footwear designs and developing new products!
This is an excellent position for a talented individual who has a good mix of all of the elements of footwear development, from creative design through to fully understanding the manufacturing process. The right individual will enjoy taking each shoe from initial brief right through to the finished article and finally having the satisfaction of knowing what is selling in the shops has been created by you!
