Automation Maintenance Engineer
£23,082 - £25,825 final rate after development £30,567 plus 24 hour shift allowance £3,343

With literally millions of customers relying on us to deliver their post every day, our automation equipment is crucial to the success of our operations. Our office in Leicester is home to some of the most sophisticated and efficient postal automation equipment available and our maintenance engineers are crucial to the success of the entire operation.
Working as part of a busy cohesive team, your aim will be to complete scheduled preventative and predictive maintenance. You’ll also be required to apply problem solving and analytical skills to ensure the automation performance remains at an optimum level. We are looking for people with a high level of technical competence who have a wide range of skills including mechanical, electrical, electronic and software. You’ll be educated to ONC level in electrical, electronic or equivalent and will have relevant experience working in a maintenance environment.
The role involves working as part of a shift rotation, which sometimes involves working unsociable hours including some weekends and night shifts. You may also be required to work at other offices within the Midlands area to provide support and engineering coverage.
